Call for proposals of programmes within Kamov Residency Programme

Rijeka, 23 March 2011.
The City Department of Culture announced Call for proposals of programmes within Kamov Residency Programme. The residency programmes that will be financed or co-financed by the City Budget are residence programmes in the city of Rijeka for creative individuals from the fields of literature, visual and audiovisual arts, and social sciences.

Pursuant to Conclusion of the Mayor of the City of Rijeka the City Department of Culture announces:

Call for proposals of programmes within Kamov Residency Programme

The residency programmes that will be financed or co-financed by the City Budget are residence programmes in the city of Rijeka for creative individuals from the fields of literature, visual and audiovisual arts, and social sciences.

Pursuant to Conclusion of the Mayor of the City of Rijeka and the evaluation system of the Programme Council of Kamov Residency Programme, the Programme will also finance residence programmes in the city of Rijeka of creative individuals whose permanent place of residence is not in the Republic of Croatia, from the following fields:

literature,
visual and
audiovisual arts, and
social sciences

Detailed conditions of the collaboration, the evaluation criteria for programme proposals and types of grants are explained in the System for evaluation of residency programmes available on the internet pages of the City Department of Culture, Korzo 16, 51 000 Rijeka, Croatia or Kamov Residency web site.

II.

The Call for proposals is open to all legal entities in the fields of culture and education: institutions, associations, arts organisations and other legal entities.

III.

All applications will be examined and evaluated by the Programme Council of Kamov Residency Programme and the City Department of Culture. The accepted applications will be co-financed in line with the City budget planning.

The programmes within Kamov Residency Programme are adopted following a decision of the Mayor of the City of Rijeka, based of the recommendations of the Programme Council.

IV.

All programme proposals must be submitted on the application form available at the City Information centre – Ri info, Korzo 18b, 51 000 Rijeka, Croatia or on the official web pages of the City of Rijeka – www. rijeka.hr, together with required annexes.

Programme proposals can be submitted personally at the Office of the City of Rijeka, Unit 1, Titov trg 3, or sent to the postal address:

Incomplete application forms or applications that fail to fulfil the required conditions will not be examined.
